Venison Sausage Recipe
Enjoy a hearty breakfast made with deer sausage!
This venison sausage recipe is great for breakfast or even as a quick sandwich.
In this recipe, you'll need to adjust the black pepper according to your individual taste.
Coarsely grind together: 5# venison 3# pork Mix together: 1 & 1/4 Tbsp Onion Powder 1 & 1/4 Tbsp Garlic Powder 1/2 Tbsp Black Pepper 2 Tbsp Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning (Green Can) 2 Pinches crushed sage leaves OR 1 tsp. of sage Add spices into 1 & 1/2 cups of cold water and shake well. Pour into meat slowly while mixing. Press into patties Fry slowly until browned. This recipe freezes great, in between sheets of waxed paper. If you do not have a burger press, you can flatten out the deer meat and then use a cup to cut your venison patties into uniform sizes.
